Kiss and Total equal Teba

In late 2008 Kiss IT and Total IT merged to form Teba.

History:

Kiss (Keep It Simple Systems) started by Michael Vondracek in 1985 as a software development company to develop accounting systems for small business. By 1990 systems like MYOB had already hit the market, so it was decided to support these systems rather than continue the development. Kiss continued to provide IT support services to small businesses.

In 1998 Steven Psaradellis joined Kiss and added the "IT" taking the focus of Kiss IT to solutions for small and medium companies, using best practices that at the time were only used by larger enterprises.

In the same year (1998) Christian Mudd joined Total Communications, a well respected communications integrator founded by Manny Ciantar in the early eighties with strong relationships with Telstra, Panasonic and NEC.

In early 2000 Manny Ciantar saw an opportunity to provide better IT services to small and medium business owners, which formed the basis of a new business called Total IT. Manny and Christian became partners and grew Total IT over the years to a small but successful systems integrator with a very loyal client base. To this day Total IT has not lost a client other than an as a result of a merger or acquisition.

Christian took over the reins of Total IT, buying Manny out in 2007 and moving to a purpose built facility in Melbourne’s north in early 2008.

The Merger

Since 2001 Christian & Steve have been friends (meeting through mutual contacts at Excom Education) and as a result have collaborated on a great number of projects due to both synergies in and differences between the two businesses.  The idea of a merger had been floated at several times throughout Kiss IT and Total IT’s history, however was not seriously considered until Steve and Christian were ‘out on their own’.

They have formed a new business called TEBA (technology enabling business advantage) with the goal to provide proactive maintenance to customers. Teba allows customers to reduce unnecessary IT expenditure, by looking after more pieces of the technology puzzle, than most other providers, at a fixed or lower cost using smart technology and exceptionally qualified people.
